I love to move mindfully. It’s my practice. It’s one of the ways that I embody my deepest aspirations for the world while also expressing my creativity and care.
Over the past 19 years, I’ve created campaigns and events to raise money and awareness for a diversity of social and environmental causes while also working as a yoga teacher and, for the past seven years, as a Montessori elementary guide in Switzerland. I do this work and practice yoga and other forms of mindful movement everyday with the hope that it will somehow be of benefit to others and because it nourishes my vitality.
Mindful movement in and of itself is a form of activism. It is healing and transformative individually and collectively. And, when we extend our mindful movement practice into the world through compassionate action, we can make a positive difference. We can be of benefit to the Greater Earth Community. This is what I feel called to do.
It has been nearly six years since I started Move for Our Living Planet, my decade-long experiment in mindful movement conservation. Since April 28, 2019, I’ve been practicing yoga every single day and completing mindful movement ceremonies that are directly linked to acts of conservation. It has been an uplifting adventure that continues to unfold with each breath I take. I look forward to seeing where it goes next.
If you want to get involved and/or support my work, please contact me. I appreciate your interest.
Be Well,

“Our task is to do the very best we can, not knowing what the consequences will be – in fact, not knowing if our efforts will make any difference whatsoever. We don’t know if what we do is important, but we do know that it’s important for us to do it. … Of course we hope our efforts will bear fruit, but ultimately they are our openhearted gift to the earth.” -David R. Loy, EcoDharma
